The 2009 desktop calendar is designed to sit on the desktop of your computer screen. It is a standard gif or jpg (your choice) bitmapped image. To use either one, simply download the image file (right click, and select the "Save As..." option), save them to your computer where you can find them, and then use your built-in operating system software to set them up on the desktop. Or you may prefer to just place a link on the desktop, if you don't what the calendar open all the time. In Windows, you can right-click on the desktop and choose either the Properties or Personalize options to take you to the menu for changing the desktop appearance and images. Then use the browse button to locate your new calendar. If you run into trouble, use the operating system HELP menu to show you the few simple steps involved. If you have a wallpaper changer program, you can use it to include the calendar as one of your screen image options. You may be able to find a freeware version of this type of software. The 2009 Word and Open Office versions of the calendar files can be edited and modified in MS Word and compatible programs. You can add or delete holidays or add any other special days. These may prove very useful in setting up your own work schedules, school calendars, birthday calendars, or any other special use you make of calendars. We have done our best to eliminate errors and to provide the most useful and function calendars possible. If you do find an error, please let us know. You can use the contact link below. In the mean time, we at 123Basics hope you will have a blessed and prosperous year.
